I designed and animated illustrations of 20 different animals for a brand-new set of Quizlet profile avatars. One of the biggest challenges of this project was to establish a cohesive illustration style that would match the Quizlet brand, since there was no pre-existing illustration guide in place. To make the illustrations feel inherent to Quizlet, I used modular design elements inspired by Quizlet's brand patterns (circles, triangles, and cylinders) as the building blocks of each avatar. These avatar illustrations are utilized across the product experience and appear in lifecycle marketing and on TikTok/Instagram.  

I was inspired by the shapes from our brand pattern library (right) and used these as modular elements to build out the characters.
